«Cartes a Jones Street» is the novel by Manuel de Pedrolo, published by Edicions 62 in paperback (272 pages, in Catalan).
Daniel Bastida had decided to become a novelist, but one Santa Llúcia night he faces the consequences of his literary failure. A gesture from his cousin Gabriela, older than him and strong-willed, immediately binds him to her; the relationship that emerges diverts the path that was leading him to Eva and completely upends his life project.
It is the tenth installment of Manuel de Pedrolo's Temps Obert cycle and part of the El Cangur collection (no. 145).
Manuel de Pedrolo i Molina was a Catalan author of novels, short stories, poetry and plays. He is mostly known for his sci-fi novel Mecanoscrit del segon origen.
