«Casa inteligente» is the science fiction novel by Kate Wilhelm, published by Editorial Edaf in paperback (100 pages, in Spanish).
Charlie and Constance, the lead couple, investigate a mystery in an unusual setting: a fully automated house, the work of young computer genius Gary Elringer. Building the smart home has consumed their company's funds and stirs unrest among the shareholders, almost all of them family and friends.
It is the third volume in the Constance and Charlie series and appears in the Ícaro collection, number 3. The translation is by Rafael Lassaletta from the original «Smart House» (1989).
For fans of classic science fiction and mysteries with technological settings, and of the Constance and Charlie series.
Kate Wilhelm was an American author. She wrote novels and stories in the science fiction, mystery, and suspense genres, including the Hugo Award–winning Where Late the Sweet Birds Sang. Wilhelm established the Clarion Workshop along with her husband Damon Knight and writer Robin Scott Wilson.
