«Castells humans» is a collection of short stories by Pep Prieto and Carles Ribas, published by Episteme in paperback (121 pages).
This book brings together stories set in the world of castells, the human towers of Catalan tradition, and shows their protagonists as ordinary people who fall in love, fall out of love and live surrounded by this practice. The prose combines Pep Prieto's direct style with Carles Ribas's more measured writing.
The book's subtitle is «Històries de vides envoltades de castells»; the back cover includes comments by Josep Maria Fonalleras and Guillem Terribas.
For fans of the castellera tradition and short fiction who want to discover everyday stories around castells.
