«Castillo interior o Las moradas» is the spiritual treatise by Teresa de Jesús, published by Signo Editores in paperback (200 pages, in Spanish).
A masterpiece of Christian mysticism in which Teresa de Jesús describes the soul as an interior castle with seven dwelling places. Each dwelling is a stage on the path of prayer, from initial recollection to transformative union with God. The author wrote it at the request of Father Jerónimo Gracián and completed it in 1577, as a complement to her earlier writings.
This edition is volume 9 of the Grandes escritoras collection. The original work dates from 1588; this Signo Editores edition is from 2005.
For readers interested in Christian spirituality, mysticism, and classics of religious literature.
