«Celia en el colegio» is a young adult novel by Elena Fortún, published by Alianza in hardcover (246 pages, in Spanish).
Celia becomes a boarder at a convent of nuns. She misses her family and promises to behave, but her imagination leads her to disobey: she climbs a tower, rides on an egg seller's cart, and plays with street children. The nuns try to educate her without success, and the school year ends in a farcical performance.
Second installment of the Celia series, originally published in 1932; the edition includes illustrations by Molina Gallent.
A suitable read for children and young people, and for adults interested in the classics of Spanish children's literature.
