«Cervantes» is the youth biography of Miguel de Cervantes by Eduardo Murias de Aller and Antonio Rey Hazas, published by Editorial Vicens Vives in paperback.
In this biography, Cervantes himself tells his life from the threshold of death: a childhood marked by hardship, the flight to Italy, the wound at Lepanto, captivity in Algiers, and travels through Andalusia and La Mancha. He also recalls his time in prison and how those experiences influenced the work of the author of Don Quixote.
Volume 4 of the Cucaña Biografías collection, a primary education aid published in 2011 in Spanish.
Aimed at primary school students and young readers interested in the life of Cervantes and Spanish literature.
