«Chiche-Mirepoix contre Mirepoix-Chiche» is the children's novel by Gérard Moncomble, published by Seuil in paperback (78 pages, in French).
Léon-Noël Chiche-Mirepoix is a museum guard and his life is monotonous. To fill that void, he creates a second identity, Mirepoix-Chiche, a secret service agent. Between the museum routine and the missions of his other self, misunderstandings and comic situations follow one another, in a humorous adventure aimed at younger readers.
The volume was originally published in 1993 and consists of 78 pages; the edition includes black-and-white drawings.
Recommended for readers aged 6 to 9, due to its short length and accessible humor; it serves especially as a first independent read.
