«Chobits 1» is the science fiction and romance manga created by CLAMP, published by Norma Editorial in paperback (176 pages, in Spanish).
Student Hideki Motosuwa finds a persocom, a human-shaped computer, abandoned in the trash. The only word the machine can say is «Chii», so Hideki adopts it with that name and tries to teach it to get by in the world. Between humor and romance, Chii's arrival raises doubts about whether a persocom can fall in love.
First volume of the «Chobits» series. The Spanish edition was published in 2002 and the original Japanese manga dates from 2001.
Aimed at readers of romantic and science fiction manga, and at CLAMP fans looking for the tone of «Sakura, la cazadora de cartas».
