Cicatrices

Synopsis of Cicatrices

Sometimes, just a second in memory format can compensate for crashing into skies of flesh and blood. Poetry has always had the power to tear apart. Some poems hurt if read at the least opportune moment, but others open holes that release the pain. For Angel Zero, 'what breaks the heart has to be fixed by the head,' and he does it through words. Writing is licking wounds. That's why 'Cicatrices' is the perfect book to dream again with open arms and not be afraid. This book is a collection of prose poems by the Spanish author Ángel Zero, published by Editorial Planeta in 2017.
