«Ciro à Procura de Amor» is the children's book by Beatrice Masini, published by Livros Horizonte in 2000, in paperback and in Portuguese.
Ciro, a gray cat with a beautiful voice, meows at the moon, but in Venice the female cats prefer velvety black cats or slightly crazy orange cats. The story follows his wanderings through the corners of the Italian city as he searches for love, with a sensitive look at identity and affection.
Aimed at children and young readers who enjoy tender stories about identity and affection.
Beatrice Masini is an Italian writer, journalist and translator, best known for her Italian translations of the Harry Potter novels. Her own novels have been nominated for the Strega Prize in 2010, and the Premio Campiello in 2013.
