«Com funciona el món?» is the illustrated children's guide by Christiane Dorion, published by Cruïlla in hardcover (20 pages, in Catalan).

This non-fiction book explains how planet Earth works in a visual and interactive way: from the origin of life and ground movements to phenomena like rain or the water cycle. It includes pop-ups, flaps and tabs so children can discover curious facts about nature, oceans and solar energy while exploring the pages.

It is part of the «Hands On Guide» series and is illustrated by Beverley Young, with translation by Martí Mas Fontcuberta. It received its second edition in February 2013.
