«Com un miratge» is the young adult novel by Maria Mercè Roca, published by Barcanova in paperback (123 pages).
The arrival of Salut, a city girl spending the summer in Queralbs, a village in the Pyrenees, awakens in the protagonist feelings he had never known before. The final disappointment marks a step forward towards maturity; that summer in Queralbs was different, like a mirage.
The work belongs to the El Fil d'Ariadna collection, Young Adult Fiction, from Barcanova, and was Maria Mercè Roca's first contribution to young adult literature.
Suitable for young adult readers, especially those looking for summer stories, new feelings, and the transition to maturity.
