«Complotto in famiglia» is Anne Fine's young adult novel, published by Piemme in paperback (208 pages, in Italian).
Siblings Ivan, Sophie, Nicholas and Tanya discover that their parents want to move their grandmother into a care home and hatch a plan to stop them, in a series of domestic mix-ups. With humor and sensitivity, the novel portrays family life, care for the elderly and solidarity among siblings faced with exhausted parents.
It belongs to the «Il battello a vapore» collection (red series). The original English work, «The Granny Project», was published in 1983.
Recommended for young readers aged 11 and up, especially those who enjoy humorous family stories.
