«Confesiones de un diplomático: del 11-S al 11-M» is the memoir of Inocencio Arias, published by Editorial Planeta in hardcover.
The author, a witness at the United Nations headquarters in New York, reveals the inner workings of the organization: an institution conceived for the common good that, according to his account, has become a market where human rights are traded for weapons and blue helmets commit abuses. With irony, he analyzes Spanish reality from a distance, from 9/11 to 3/11.
First edition published in June 2006; 364 pages and includes bibliographic references (pages 363-364).
For readers interested in diplomacy, the United Nations, and recent Spanish foreign policy.
