«Confidências» is the book by Felipa Garnel with real stories from Uber passengers, published by Lua de Papel in paperback (232 pages, in Portuguese).
After working as an Uber driver for a while, Felipa Garnel listened to and recorded the stories her passengers told her. The book brings together those encounters: a woman who cries remembering a kidnapping, a couple getting into the car mid-argument, and other confidences about losses, family secrets, and heartbreaks.
The subtitle of the work is «As minhas histórias como motorista da Uber»; it was published in March 2019.
For readers interested in real stories about ordinary people and the confidences that arise during an Uber ride.
