«Corazones caídos» is the romantic and gothic novel by V. C. Andrews, published by Círculo de Lectores in hardcover (398 pages, in Spanish).
The young protagonist tries to achieve the happiness and love she has always wanted, but her family's scandals, unconfessable passions and ghosts of the past make it increasingly difficult. The romance is tinged with suspense and a gothic atmosphere as the past returns to claim its place.
Third installment of the Casteel saga. The original, Fallen Hearts, is from 1988; this Spanish edition includes the translation by Montserrat Solanas and an illustrated dust jacket.
For readers of romance with a gothic air and for followers of the family saga that begins with Los sueños de Heaven Leigh.

Cleo Virginia Andrews, better known as Virginia C. Andrews or V. C. Andrews, was an American novelist. She was best known for her 1979 novel Flowers in the Attic, which inspired two movie adaptations and four sequels. While her novels are not classified by her publisher as Young Adult, their young protagonists have made them popular among teenagers for decades. After her death in 1986, a ghostwriter who was initially hired to complete two unfinished works has continued to publish books under her name.
