«Corrections & Clarifications» is Ian Mayes's compilation of The Guardian's corrections, published by Atlantic Books in paperback (176 pages).
The book brings together the errata and correction notices that The Guardian published during 2002, compiled by its readers' editor, Ian Mayes. Alongside typographical errors, identity confusions and editorial slips, it shows the unintentional humor of the press and how the newspaper acknowledged and amended its own mistakes.
The author, Ian Mayes, was the Readers' Editor of The Guardian at the time of publication.
It is especially suitable for journalists, copy editors and readers interested in language and the inner workings of the press.
