«Corredores de sombra» is the young adult mystery novel by Agustín Fernández Paz, published by Edicións Xerais in paperback (232 pages, in Galician).
In the summer of 1995, construction work at the Soutelo manor reveals a walled-up skeleton with a gunshot wound to the head. Clara Soutelo, witness to the discovery, investigates her family's past to find out who the dead man is and who killed him. Now older, she remembers that summer when she was sixteen: first love and an investigation that changed her outlook on life.
Corredores de sombra was published in 2006 in the Fóra de Xogo collection by Edicións Xerais and was recognized with the Frei Martín Sarmiento Prize.
Recommended for readers aged 14 and over looking for novels of mystery, tension and first love.
