«Cosecha Mortífera: De los Transgénicos a las Vacas Locas» is the essay by Ingeborg Boyens, published by Flor del Viento Ediciones in paperback.
Starting from the traditional farm, the book shows how genetically modified foods have prevailed: crops such as genetically modified tomatoes, corn or soybeans, and experiments with pigs or salmon. The author denounces that they are barely distinguishable from natural ones and warns of health risks, such as the mad cow crisis.
Third edition, published on May 11, 2001. 124 pages, in Spanish.
Work of interest to those following the debate on food, biotechnology and public health.
