«Cròniques perdudes» is a short story collection by Vicent Sanz, published by Edicions del Bullent in 1996, 120 pages, in Catalan.
The book is set in the imaginary past of Traiguera, in the Maestrat, and brings together stories of characters who struggle against the passage of time. It features a funeral without mourning, an apprentice hunter, exile in intimacy, turbulent youth, and memory confused with fantasy, with a blend of sensuality, roughness, tenderness and violence.
The work corresponds to the first edition and is part of the Miratges collection, number 8.
For readers of short fiction in Catalan and those interested in stories set in the rural world of the Maestrat.
