Cuadernos de África

Synopsis of Cuadernos de África

In 'Notebooks of Africa', Miquel Barceló invites us on an introspective journey through his experiences and reflections on the African continent. Over the years, Africa has become a spiritual refuge for the artist, and these notebooks are a testament to his experiences aboard a canoe, in the desert, and in various states of mind. The book offers a glimpse into Barceló's creative process, combining drawings, sketches, thoughts, and quotes that reveal the essence of his art and his vision of the world.
