Synopsis of Cuentos de Georgia

«Cuentos de Georgia» is a collection of folk tales adapted by Carmen Bravo-Villasante, published by Miñón in paperback (90 pages, in Spanish).

Anthology of tales from Georgian folklore: heroes overcoming trials and dangers, crystal springs in the forest, enchanted frogs that turn into maidens, and a world populated by kings, shepherds, peasants, winged beings, bewitched women and thieves. The book suggests reading them alone, aloud, and retelling them afterwards.

The work was published in 1983 with illustrations by Jesús Gabán and is part of Miñón's children's and young adult catalogue.

Suitable for young readers and for shared reading or oral storytelling activities.
