This volume brings together two mermaid stories adapted for children: «La Sirenita», by Andersen, and «La caracola mágica», a traditional Japanese tale. The watercolor-style illustrations and marine scenes transport the reader to an underwater world full of fish, corals and other creatures.

For children ages 3 to 5, it is suitable for reading aloud or as a first introduction to mermaid stories.
