«Cuentos terroríficos de fantasmas» is a children's storybook by Joan de Déu Prats, in hardcover (96 pages), published by Timun Mas Infantil.
The ghosts in these stories aren't scary: one loses his castle, a headless knight suffers children's pranks, a skeleton is kidnapped from the cemetery, another goes to a psychiatrist because he can't frighten anyone, and another dislikes the decor of the house where he appears. Humorous stories starring bewildered apparitions.
Part of the Aventuras fantásticas collection. Illustrated by Lluïsot Domènech Alberdí. Winner of the Premi Crítica Serra d'Or de Literatura Infantil i Juvenil in 2005.
Suitable for readers aged 7 and up looking for fun ghost stories without scary scenes.
