«Cuentos y leyendas de los héroes de la mitología» is a book of tales and legends by Christian Grenier (Anaya, paperback, 176 pages, in Spanish).
The volume brings together stories of heroes of Greek mythology such as Orpheus, Theseus, Perseus, Oedipus, Achilles and Ulysses. Although the gods intervene in their exploits, the characters retain human weaknesses; among the deeds, Perseus's victory over Medusa and the feats of the heroes of the Trojan War stand out.
It is the first title in the Cuentos y Leyendas series of the Tus Libros collection from Anaya; the illustration is by Antonia Santolaya and the translation from French is by María Durante.
Recommended for readers aged 12 and over and for those who want to approach Greek mythology through short stories.
