«Culpable» is Eli Ríos's poetry collection published by Edicións Xerais in paperback (72 pages, in Galician).
The book opens with a confession: the author has killed the lyrical self. The work invites the reader to take part in that literary crime and to move between mass culture and high culture, taking sides with no middle ground. The collection becomes a tangle of artistic artifacts where there are decisions and smiles, with frankness.
This poetry collection belongs to the Edición Literaria - Poesía series and was awarded the IV Gonzalo López Abente Poetry Prize.
A proposal for readers of contemporary Galician poetry who appreciate works that directly address the reader.
