«Cumpleaños lobuno» is the children's fantasy novel by Paul van Loon, published by Ediciones SM in paperback (270 pages, in Spanish).
Jacobo seems like an ordinary boy: he lives with his friend Tino and Tino's family because his parents abandoned him when he was little. On the night of his seventh birthday, everything starts to itch and he discovers he is growing hair, claws and fangs: he is a wolf boy. A story of adventure with humor and irony that addresses acceptance of difference.
First title in the Jacobo Lobo saga, originally published in Dutch as Dolfje Weerwolfje. The edition includes illustrations by Hugo van Look and a translation by Gonzalo Fernández Gómez.
Recommended for child readers aged 6 to 9, especially those who enjoy fantasy stories, humor and characters who discover their identity.
