«Dans le ventre du cheval de Troie» is the children's mythology novel by Hélène Montardre, published by Nathan in paperback (64 pages, in French).
After ten years of besieging Troy, the Greeks fail to take the city. Ulysses, one of the Greek leaders, opts for cunning over force: he has an enormous wooden horse built and hides inside it with other warriors. The episode is told from inside the horse, in a version designed for early readers.

Aimed at children aged 9 to 12 who want to get started in classical mythology.
