«D'Artagnan enamorado» is the novel by Roger Nimier published by Edhasa in hardcover (288 pages, in Spanish).
The action takes place in the five years before Dumas's «Veinte años después» and shows D'Artagnan in a romantic facet that the classic barely sketches. The musketeer acts as a secret agent to secure the Universal Peace Treaty, but his love affairs distract him from the mission. The work combines literary homage and parody with Nimier's characteristic ironic humor.
Novel published in the Edhasa Literaria collection, translated by Joan Riambau. It is the first novel by Roger Nimier translated into Spanish.
