«Das erste Weihnachtsfest» is the illustrated children's book by Gaby Goldsack, published by undercover in hardcover (24 pages, in German).
It tells the first Christmas: Mary and Joseph travel to Bethlehem and, finding no lodging, the baby Jesus is born in a humble stable, accompanied by animals and a star that lights up the night. The story, in short verses, combines illustrations of the nativity scene with simple text for the youngest.
This edition contains 24 pages and illustrations by Caroline Pedler.
Aimed at young children: the verse and illustrations make it suitable for a first introduction to the Christmas story.
