«De la cabeza a los pies» is the only novel by British playwright Joe Orton, published by Mondadori in hardcover, with 181 pages, in Spanish.
The narrative, published posthumously in 1971 under the original title Head to Toe, showcases the keys to Joe Orton's talent: mordant humor, devastating irony and a critical, uncompromising gaze on characters and situations, with an agile and lively rhythm.
This 1988 edition belongs to the Narrativa Mondadori collection, with a translation by M. S. de Mora and an illustrated dust jacket.
Aimed at readers with a taste for satire and black humor, and at followers of Joe Orton's theater.
John Kingsley Orton, known by the pen name of Joe Orton, was an English playwright, author, and diarist.
