Synopsis of Derecho de los Servicios Públicos Sociales

This book addresses the legal regime of the four most important interventions of Public Administrations in social matters: education, dependency, health and social security. The four Systems (Educational, for Autonomy and Attention to Dependency, Health and Social Security) that constitute the essential core of the Social State are analyzed. This fifth edition incorporates legislative novelties such as Organic Law 3/2020 and Organic Law 3/2018, which introduce significant changes in the educational system and in the protection of personal data in the educational and health fields. It also analyzes the measures foreseen for extraordinary health situations such as pandemics. In terms of Social Security, the establishment of new benefits and the complement to reduce the gender gap are highlighted.
