«Desig de foc» is the contemporary fiction novel by Jordi Cervera, published by Editorial Meteora in paperback (336 pages, in Catalan).
Llorenç lives and works in a farmhouse restaurant where the kitchen concentrates sensations and conflicts. He dreams of holding a ball of fire in his hand, as the fakir Kibral taught him. The arrival of photographer Didier Chaumont and actress Michelle Yun breaks the monotony and opens a story of eroticism, fantasy and struggle for living space.
Volume 11 of the Papers de Fortuna collection. Includes a final recipe section commented by Santi Santamaria.
For readers of contemporary fiction in Catalan looking for stories with a focus on cooking, desire and fantasy.
