«¡Despegando!» is a children's picture book by Sean Taylor, illustrated by Hannah Shaw, published by Takatuka in hardcover (32 pages, in Spanish).
The animals on Mr. García's farm are fed up with living in filth and neglect, so they hatch a plan to escape: build an intergalactic rocket. Before the big trip, someone will have to do a test flight; the hen, the rabbit, the sheep, or an unthinkable candidate. A fable full of action and humor about caring for the planet and respect for animals.
Translation by Marc Barrobés i Meix; original title in English: We have lift-off! Ages 4 and up.
For early readers and for families who want a story with an ecological message, humor, and adventure.
