«Despertar-me quan no dormo» is the poetry collection by Miquel Desclot, published by Proa in paperback (72 pages, in Catalan).
The collection is conceived as an exercise in creative maturity: the observation of nature and the dialogue with the poetic and artistic tradition build a universe with moral density and careful formal craftsmanship. Its writing, confident in the creative power of language, sustains each poem and gives the whole coherence.
Volume 375 of the Ossa Menor collection. Winner of the 2020 Premi Carles Riba for poetry, published on February 10, 2021.
Aimed at a general audience interested in contemporary poetry in the Catalan language.
