«Després de la pluja» is a theatrical comedy by Sergi Belbel, published by Edicions 62 in paperback (141 pages, in Catalan).
On the rooftop of a forty-nine-story skyscraper, office workers sneak up to smoke, a pleasure forbidden by company rules. Among secretaries and executives, they confess fears, voice reproaches and let off steam while waiting for the rain, the only way to redeem so much suffering.
First edition (Barcelona, 2001), number 181 of the El Galliner collection, with a prologue by Carles Batlle. Molière Prize for best comic work and Serra d'Or Critics Prize for Theatre and Performing Arts.
For readers of contemporary theatre and choral comedies with a satirical portrait of the work environment.
