«Deuda de sangre» is the suspense novel by Michael Connelly, published by Círculo de Lectores in paperback (412 pages, in Spanish).
Before he can retire to repair his sailboat, Terry McCaleb, a former FBI agent recovering from a heart transplant, must close one last investigation: the murder of Gloria Rivers, his donor. What seemed like an isolated crime leads him to a killer as meticulous as he is ruthless.
Originally published as «Blood Work» in 1998, it belongs to the Harry Bosch universe (seventh installment). In 1999 it won the Anthony Award and the Macavity Award.
A read for fans of crime fiction and police thrillers, with an unconventional investigator and a very personal case.
