«Diario de Anne Frank» is the school edition of Anne Frank's diary, published by Debolsillo in paperback (448 pages, in Spanish).
After the invasion of the Netherlands, the Frank family hid in an annex in Amsterdam, where Anne, aged thirteen, wrote these pages between 1942 and 1944. The text reflects life in hiding, the relationships among its eight occupants and the horror of Nazi persecution, all told by a teenager.
This edition, published in 2009 within the Contemporánea collection, includes educational material by Maribel Cruzado. The original work, «Het Achterhuis», dates from 1947.
It is suitable for readers aged 12 and over and is often used as secondary-school reading for a first approach to the Holocaust.
