«Diario de la caída de Cataluña» is the historical chronicle by Josep Pernau, published by Ediciones B in paperback (297 pages, in Spanish).
The work reconstructs the final days of republican Catalonia from the articles Josep Pernau published in El Periódico de Catalunya between December 23, 1938 and February 10, 1939. The author brings together these chronicles to document the end of the Civil War in Catalonia and the human context of the civilian population during the retreat.
The work belongs to the Serie Reporter collection, number 33, and corresponds to the first edition, published in Barcelona in 1989.
A work of interest for readers of Spanish history and the Civil War, and for those studying war journalism.
