«Diario de un emigrante» is the novel by Miguel Delibes, published by Destino in paperback (289 pages, in Spanish).
Lorenzo, protagonist of «Diario de un cazador», resumes his diary after marrying Anita. Anita's uncles, living in Santiago, Chile, offer them a house and work, so they emigrate with hopes of prospering. Delibes combines the trials of emigration with an ironic portrait of the couple: hopes, jealousy, reconciliations, and disillusionment.
Sequel to «Diario de un cazador», published in the Destinolibro collection (vol. 44).
For readers of «Diario de un cazador» who want to meet Lorenzo again.
