«Die Olchis und der Schmuddel-Hund» is the children's book by Erhard Dietl, published by Oetinger Friedrich GmbH in hardcover (38 pages, in German).
On the Olchis' garbage mountain, the kids are bored: their pets are hardly any fun. A stray dog that shows up at the dump fixes everything: it knows tricks and loves rolling around in the filth. A fun adventure about the scruffy dog that joins the Olchis, aimed at beginning readers.
Book no. 19 in the Olchis series, published in 2012 in the early-reader collection Sonne, Mond und Sterne (1st grade level).
Recommended for children aged 6 and up who are learning to read and for fans of the Olchis' adventures.
