«Difesa dell'attore Roscio-Contro Vatinio» is the Latin-Italian bilingual edition of two speeches by Cicero, published by Garzanti in paperback.
The volume brings together two speeches by Cicero: the defense of the actor Roscius, delivered in a private trial, and the invective against Vatinius, linked to the 'Pro Sestio' and to the political situation of 59 BC that led the orator into exile. The edition presents the original Latin text with the Italian translation on facing pages.
Published in 1995 in the 'I grandi libri' series (no. 555). Edited by Annalaura Burlando and includes an essay by Mariangela Scarsi.
For students and scholars of classical rhetoric, oratory and literature who want to read Cicero with the original Latin and its translation.
