Dis, c'est quoi la franc-maçonnerie ?

Synopsis of Dis, c'est quoi la franc-maçonnerie ?

«Dis, c'est quoi la franc-maçonnerie ?» is the popular essay by Jean Somers, published by La Renaissance du livre in paperback (90 pages, in French).

In an imaginary dialogue with his eldest grandson, Jean Somers explains what Freemasonry is: a closed society, not a secret one, that seeks to bring people together and enrich them through their differences. Somers rejects clichés, recalls historical persecutions and defends a moral reform; he regrets that many lodges still do not accept women.

Published in 2018, it includes a preface by Olivia Chaumont and is part of the «Dis c'est quoi ?» collection.

For those who want to understand what Masonry is beyond the mystery and clichés.
