«Discursos de Benedicto XVI con motivo del año sacerdotal» is the collection of discourses published by Editorial Edice (paperback, 176 pages, Spanish).
It gathers the discourses Benedict XVI addressed to priests during the Year for Priests, the basis of the 2010-2011 spiritual retreats. With solid doctrine and simple language, they unite the priest with God, with Christ, with the Spirit, with man, with the ecclesial community and with society, and enhance the dignity of his vocation.
Retreats Collection, no. 22, of the Spanish Bishops' Conference; edited by Pablo Cervera Barranco.
A work aimed at priests and readers interested in the magisterium of Benedict XVI, it can be used in spiritual retreats and personal reflection.
Pope Benedict XVI was head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of Vatican City from 2005 until his resignation in 2013. Following his resignation, he chose to be known as "pope emeritus", a title he held until his death on 31 December 2022.
