«Don Camilo y los jóvenes de hoy» is the humorous novel by Giovanni Guareschi, published by Plaza & Janés in paperback, in Spanish.
Don Camilo, a priest in an Italian village, is the protagonist of these stories in which humor and irony serve to speak of faith, tradition and the meeting between generations. Faced with young people with new concerns, the priest responds with his usual character, in a portrait of an Italy that is beginning to change.
The work was originally published in 1969 and belongs to the «Mondo piccolo» series; this edition includes the translation by Domingo Pruna and is part of the Rotativa collection (no. 80).
A work of interest for those seeking Italian literature, classic humor and short stories set in Italy.
Giovannino Oliviero Giuseppe Guareschi was an Italian journalist, cartoonist and humorist whose best known creation is the priest Don Camillo.
