«Don Quijote de la Mancha» is the adapted version of Miguel de Cervantes's novel, published by Susaeta in hardcover (72 pages, in Spanish).
A gentleman from La Mancha, turned into Don Quixote, sets out in search of adventures with his squire Sancho Panza. Cervantes parodies chivalric romances and, with humor and irony, deals with matters such as the longing for justice, friendship and the interplay between truth and falsehood. This adaptation summarizes and brings together the two parts of the work.
Adaptation by María Asensio, with illustrations by Antonio Albarrán, in the collection «El placer de LEER con Susaeta - nivel 4». Recommended reading age: from 12 years.
Aimed at young readers who want to get started in the classics of Spanish literature through a short, illustrated version.
