«Donde acaba el río» is the romantic novel by Charles Martin, published by Editorial Viceversa in hardcover (372 pages, in Spanish).
Doss and Abbie belong to opposite worlds: she is a senator's daughter and he grew up in a caravan. Despite everything, they fall in love and marry in secret. Fourteen years later, Abbie suffers from a terminal illness and the couple embarks on a last boat trip down the river, a pending dream from their courtship, while they review together the list of her ten final wishes.
Recommended for readers of contemporary romantic novels and family dramas in the vein of Nicholas Sparks and Robert James Waller.
