«Dones rebels: Històries contra el silenci» is the biographical work by Aina Torres Rexach, published by Sembra Llibres Coop. V. in paperback (176 pages, in Catalan).
The book recovers the lives of twenty-two women who defied patriarchy: militiawomen, aviators, mathematicians, painters, politicians and writers, among other professions. It interweaves their trajectories to give voice back to the silenced and show how they paved the way for subsequent generations.
First edition, with twenty-two illustrations by Helena Pérez García, published on April 14, 2019.
Aimed at readers aged 16 and over interested in biographies and in recovering women's memory.
