«Don't Cry for Me Aberystwyth» is the mystery novel by Malcolm Pryce, published by Bloomsbury Publishing PLC in hardcover (280 pages, in English).
It's Christmas in Aberystwyth and detective Louie Knight investigates the murder of a man dressed in a red and white robe in a Chinatown alley; next to the corpse the word «Hoffmann» appears written in blood. The investigation turns into a parody of Cold War spy novels, mixing a document stolen from Adolf Eichmann, retired agents and a revelation about the fate of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
Fourth installment of the Aberystwyth Noir series, featuring detective Louie Knight.
Recommended for readers of crime fiction with absurd humor and parodic espionage plots.
Malcolm Pryce is a British author, mostly known for his noir detective novels.
