«Dos chicos enamorados» is a book of romantic short stories by Lawrence Schimel, published by Laertes in paperback (141 pages, in Spanish).
Love between men appears in these stories in many phases: the adolescent crush, the calmer passions of maturity, and couples who still love each other after years. The stories take place among the book stalls of Sant Jordi in Barcelona and the streets of New York, and combine fairy tale, humor and eroticism.
Third book of short stories by Lawrence Schimel, it belongs to the Rey de bastos collection (no. 37) and is translated from English by Cristina Palés.
For readers of romantic short stories and gay fiction: varied stories about love between men, with a tender, funny and erotic tone.
Lawrence Schimel is a bilingual (Spanish/English) American writer, translator, and anthologist. His work, which frequently deals with gay and lesbian themes as well as matters of Jewish identity, often falls into the genres of science fiction and fantasy and takes the form of both poetry and prose for adults and for children.
